Airport Hotel - Kansas City, MO
Ventures Hospitality is developing a hotel on the grounds of Kansas City International airport in partnership with Stay It Forward and Grayson Capital.
Berkshires Untold - Lenox, MA
Built in 1963 as a Susse Chalet Motor Lodge, Charles first noticed this underwhelming but well-located motel in 2015. Five years later he acquired the property with his partners and undertook a gut renovation and expansion. The renovated boutique property was lauded in The New York Times and Vogue.
Fairfield Inn & Suites French Qtr - New Orleans, LA
Charles led the acquisition of this historic building - built in 1910 for the Interstate Electric Company. The gut renovation qualified for state and federal historic tax credits and was awarded a National Excellence in Construction Pyramid Award from Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) for Historical Restoration/ Renovation.
Franchise Development for Marriott International
Charles assisted hotel developers evaluate acquisitions, developments and renovations on behalf of Marriott International. He worked on full-service projects in 12 states from TX to MN. Projects include: The Grand Galvez - Galveston, TX, The Scarlet, Lincoln, NE, The Vanguard - Ann Arbor, MI among others.
Courtyard/ Residence Inn - Dartmouth, NS
Charles assisted in the feasibility and financing of this ground up dual-brand development in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Cambria Charleston Riverview - Charleston, SC
Charles assisted in the feasibility and financial structure of this waterfront development in the dynamic Charleston market.
